Interests
While at Chicago, I was involved in COPS (Confronting Ordinary Police Situations) and Psi Chi. I also worked as a lifeguard at Ratner and at the C-Shop. I am also from the suburbs of Chicago so I was glad to be close to home. I like to play soccer and dance. I also play the flute, but with the work load at Chicago, it is not that easy to practice.
Research
I worked in Josh Correll's lab looking at implicit racial bias. My honors project examined racial bias in police shootings across America. Although small, a bias was found. It was really nice to move the research from the lab to the field and find similar results.
Potential
I am most likely going to be at the University of Liverpool in Fall 2007 enrolled in a master's program in Investigative Psychology. One day, I would like to work for the police in the UK or Europe. I am interested in researching terrorism and serial crimes.
